This is Flo’s old bed. Flo likes to chew beds. This is when she first started to chew her old bed. Flo chewed her old bed so much that we’ve had to throw it in the bin.

Flo has a new bed. Flo’s only allowed to lie on her new bed when I’m at home so that I can correct her if she chews it. When I’m not home she has to lie on her ‘totally and utterly chew proof’ bed. This is Flo’s ‘totally and utterly chew proof bed’. She’s chewed it.

This is Flo’s new bed. I think she likes it.

… and just in case you think George is really hard-done-by, constantly chased and harassed by Her Fabulousness… this is Flo’s indoor bed.

We’re taking part in Monday Mischief blog hop. Click on the link to be taken to Snoopy’s Blog where you can join in the fun.

I don’t think George is quite as daft as he makes out! Deccy x
I think you might be right.
Hey Flo, Jet here. Nice comfy bed ya got there… take care of this one. Go easy on your human… Mom was afraid to buy JJ a bed while in her “intensive” chew mood. Now she’s started to hang out in my bed! MOM!!!! Time to get JJ a bed!
Must give an awwww to George sleeping…
Absolutely nothing is chew proof!
Hee,hee! I guess she showed that “no chew” bed who’s boss! Both her and George look so comfy!
lol – Flo is greater than any chew-proof bed!
Haha Flo is exactly like Daisy – Daisy will chew and destroy *anything* in her path! We don’t even buy doggy beds for her anymore, they don’t stand a chance. BUT – surprisingly she hasn’t chewed Big Blue, which used to be DD’s pillow. For some reason, she treats that with respect and just cuddles up on it. We don’t know why, but we’re sticking with it!
I’m with Daisy on that; I wouldn’t chew something called big blue either! Maybe I have to start naming her beds… except that I can’t think of a suitably off-putting name!
OK, Flo, you’re going to have to explain this one to me. I understand the thrill of ripping apart stuffies, sometimes after months of being good to them, but WHY rip apart your own bed? You like lying in the mess, Flo? Surely not….
Woofs,
A somewhat befuddled TOMMY
Ahh, Tommy, as far as Flo is concerned her bed is one big stuffie. There is no distinction, except that her bed doesn’t contain a squeaker.
Hey Flo,
It appears your Mum underestimates your great chewing powers?!! Tee Hee
Great Mischief buddy,
Your pal Snoopy
Our humans tried to give us new beds a couple of months ago because the others were “disgusting.” We protested and slept on the cold floor. Then one day our old beds with the holes and dirt stains appeared in our bedroom. Never discount a broken in bed. Although a new, comfy one can be nice too. Flo looks happy!
Bella and DiDi
That bed REALLY had to go… and it is REALLY not coming back.
We believe it!
Nice bed! LOL mom doesn’t let me have a dog bed after the first 3 were destroyed while she was in the shower
Dachshund Nola
Wow! You’re a fast worker! Flo started on that last bed while I was away and friends were house & pet sitting. I had to fly to Sydney to get my international flight and she started on it while I was on the Sydney flight. She was trying to make a point.
Wow that sure is a lot of bed damage! Hope the new one lasts this time
Slobbers
Our puppy has no bed at the moment. He is a chewer deluxe. No bed until the chewing years are over. We were thinking of getting him a chew proof bed. After seeing your pictures, no bed until the chewing years are over. lol
Flo, that looks like a nice bed. You’d better grab one of your toys and chew it instead.
I do consider myself lucky that our dogs don’t chew their beds! Our first did, when he had a plastic bed with a dog pillow in it, but he stopped when told off a few times. Most of ours haven’t destroyed toys either, but we did have one who chewed the walls and all the knobs off the bottom part of a nice big piece of furniture.
Flo looks lovely! And she certainly is enjoying that turkey leg!
