Saturday Splash!

We went for a walk this morning.  As I stood on a beautiful beach, with hardly a soul in sight, red-tailed black cockatoos squawking in the casuarina trees, I really did wonder to myself, does it get any better?  Actually, as it happens, I realised it does as I watched Flo pelting backwards and forwards in the water, in her element.

Something Wagging This Way Comes recently wrote a post about things no-one tells you when you get your first dog.  No one ever told me how much delight I could get from watching my lovely dog having the time of her life, just running in and out of the waves.  Sigh.  🙂

Flo successfully warns a marker buoy to keep its distance

Flo ran…

and ran….

and then she just did a bit of staring at nothing for a while…

Perhaps she was just wondering whether it could possibly get any better.  Maybe, if she had a straighter tail…

By scrolling really fast, it almost was like watching a flip-book of the pictures!

Happy Saturday, stopping by from the blog hop!

Love! Your pictures are awesome. I would say that she was having the time of her life. Perhaps she was having a zen moment at the end. 🙂
P.S. I can completely relate to just enjoying the beauty of a dog running through the waves and the delight I feel watching them have so much fun.

  3. Flo looks like she was having the time of her life. Nice pics.

Of course you weren’t prepared for how wonderful it would be to watch Flo having a great time. We’re always told perfection is for heaven. How could you know that on earth its name is “dog?”

Love the beach pix. Hope you keep them coming. Sunny beach pictures are a lifeline for those of us in the north heading into the dark, cold season.

And thanks for the shout out! It’s been nice seeing your visits over at the blog.
