All We Are Saying….

Peace has broken out.  I don’t know why.  I don’t understand.  I’m not going to question why, but peace has broken out.  Feel the love guys, feel the love.

Since Fergus has been ill, she and George are tolerating each other much better.  It has even gone so far as to reach the giddy heights of nose sniffing each morning, which is not then followed by either hissing or swiping.  There has been passing in the hallway without incident.  There has been snoozing on the SAME COUCH at the SAME TIME. I have photographic evidence.  I think it might be because Fergus isn’t wearing a jingly jangly collar, so that takes the fun out of stalking her.

In addition, George continues to tolerate Flo’s nasal-olfactory-investigations on a daily basis.  His ears have never been cleaner.

Fergus and Flo are almost besties.  Almost.

I feel as though we’ve had a sneaky peak at what multi-species households should be like.  Who knows if it will last.  Perhaps they’re just teasing me.

We haven’t been to the v-e-t’s for just over a week.  So Flo’s skin has broken out big-time.  😦

Oh poor Flo. Still the love-in is great isn’t it? Mum says she dreams of such a time… KC & me snogging on the sofa. Kind of hard to imagine….. Hehe! Deccy x

Hehehe. I hope your flash red coat’s got a fleecy lining. Yup, I think with George, all the licks are just Flo working out how much seasoning she needs to apply!

  2. Pace can be very… peaceful! Well done, All!

Glad the cats are getting along, but poor Flo. Do you know what is causing her rashes?

I THINK it’s grass. It’s just the right length to brush along her tummy when it’s seeding, which it is constantly here at the moment. It seems to be worse when I take her to certain places and the grass hasn’t been cut. I gave her a good medicated wash yesterday afternoon and put some cream on it from the vet (which Flo instantly tries to lick off, no matter how soundly asleep she is when I put it on)! It’s a bit better today. I’ve got anti-histamines as well, but I’m trying to resist all of that if I can. 😦

  5. Flo, cats are weird. Arty is my best friend she is the nicest cat and well we thinks she thinks she is a dog. She actually PLAYS with me. Scylla hisses at me and runs every time she sees me (I do not chase her I am a good dog). I did growl and snarl at her when the ninny tried to steal my canned dogfood (that I only get once a month) right out of my bowl while I was eating it. I did not hurt her and Mommy chased her off for me. Socks will sit close to me sometimes and sometimes he will allow me to sniff him, but he will not play with me. Mommy says he is very old (he will be 12 in September) and that he is eccentric and we just has to deal with him. He popped me on the nose when I was little so I learnt to respect CATS. ~Fenris

I have a sneaky suspicion that they’re just winding me up and will be back to scratching each other’s eyes out before we know it! BTW, Welcome back B. 🙂
