We think the pic is funny. We would be curious to learn if you lose any subscribers. We posted a pic like that with a sarcastic, yet funny story and we lost a “cat person” subscriber who is an avid blogger.
Since we love felines and live with Puffy and Fluffy, we thought the subscriber took the post too seriously… we blog in lightheartedness don’t you think?
I can’t believe that anyone would find that offensive – the words are a play on Lewis Caroll’s ‘The Jabberwocky’… they fit George and his personality – you do have to beware of George in our house – sometimes he’s just ‘in one of those moods’ where he will hassle and bite and scratch for no apparent reason. if I were to lose any subscribers because of a post like this then they probably aren’t that familiar with my blog or how much I adore my furry friends. Yes, we blog in lightheartedness too – I’ve lost a subscriber before (quite possibly even the same one…) but in all honesty, I don’t analyse it too much – if they didn’t like what I posted then they may have missed the point. They may have unsubscribed for a different reason – I don’t know. Not all blogs fit all people. 🙂

You are most wise… we feel quite the same, thanks for letting us know… since we are newer to the petblogging world, we wondered if we did something inappropriate without knowing…. Puffy, as a result from his HORRIBLE treatment for 3 years prior to meeting Mom, acts out because he is scared, not because he is mean.
That’s a little scary! She looks very stealthy besides those glowing eyes.
