Monday Mischief – How Does Your Garden Grow?

… not terribly well when a 40kg Ridgeback plonks herself in the middle of the plants.

Nope, I have no idea why these plants aren’t growing up nice and bushy like they’re supposed to.

Just an update on Saturday’s post re apple cider vinegar.  I think Flo’s leg was beginning to show an improvement last night, but only a small one and there’s no telling that that was because of the ACV as opposed to just resting her.  We had a quick trip to the v-e-t this morning and she was still very much favouring her other leg.  I didn’t want her to have any anti-inflammatories today so we are trying out a series of Cartrophen injections.  We’ve tried once before, but are giving it another whirl to see if it makes any difference.  The v-e-t reckons we won’t see any improvement for 3 weeks or so.  😦  Poor Flo.

We’re taking part in the Monday Mischief pet blog hop.  Hop on over to Snoopy’s fantastic blog and join in!  Just click the link.

Woof! Woof! Oh No but I bet its cooler than the ground. Happy MM! Lots of Golden ALOHA n Woofs, Sugar http://www.sugarthegoldenretriever.com

  2. I wouldn’t have thought the ACV would work that quickly! Natural remedies usually take longer to show any benefit because they don’t treat the symptoms but more the source. That’s my (limited and uneducated) understanding of them anyway! Poor Flo! X

Hmmm. That grass wouldn’t be a source of her allergies, would it?

    • Flo says:

It would serve her right if it was! But no, it’s something that seeds in the wet season around one of the places where we walk. As for the ACV, some people report it working straight away, but I’m with you, I would’ve thought it would take a while too.

Poor sweet Flo! Maybe she and DH can rest and heal together, at least in spirit! 😉 Flo, those plants are nice, but you’re definitely the prettiest flower of any garden!

It looks comfy up there. At least they’re still green 🙂 My boys like sleeping on my parents flower bed…I wonder why those flowers stopped growing.

Arrrgh! A puppy plant?? I hadn’t thought of that!! I’m not sure that I reaalllly like that idea given that the store room is full of things that Miss Fab still can’t be trusted not to chew! Thanks for popping by. 🙂
