Good to see you H! Don’t know what the cyclone season is shaping up for down this way – pretty much take them in my stride now. Went through the ’71 biggie (Althea) and many scares since then. (except for my years in Tas) I really hope your buidings get blown down by some freakie thing and any cyclones pass you by! Have to say I feel safer in a cyclone in a house at ground level (oh-oh.) Everyone naturally gets a little tense from now on and become avid weather followers (my favourite is ‘weatherzone’)
I did have a great break (Perth) was a little too long away though. And we’ve been having some surprisingly lovely weather here, and it’s about to change as this heat-hater heads for the island in the morning.
Aren’t your puppies (no matter how old a dog is they’re always puppies to me!) looking gorgeous! Darn tick season now though 😦
Take care H !!
I’ll post from the island!
Oh my goodness, she was desperately going through all her ‘Look, I’m a good girl’ moves to get that pig’s trotter, that’s why she’s lying down in this shot!
H! Just a quick check in, it’s the crazy season after all!
May you, yours and the “puppies” all have a wonderful Christmas break, albeit atrociously HOT.
Haha, at least there’s someone I know who will have a hotter and more humid Christmas than me, and I thought that was impossible. Ah, that is of course if you are Christmassing up “there”.
Cheers,
Woofs-pats-hugs to you all.
Haha! Thanks Rose. Wishing you and the family a peaceful Christmas. It is raining, finally. A welcome relief as temperatures have struggled to dip below 27 degrees overnight. Getting ready for the houseful of guests – T minus 3 hours!
OM goodness ‘H’ we haven’t talked for ages!! It was fabulous to hear from you – hope all is well in your neck of the woods. I had no idea you are a Scottish lassie! woohoo – whatever is a Scottish lass doing in DARWIN!!!! haha. hoping you, the puppies and everyone in your clan there is happy and well. xxx
